Part of our summer plans, recently the entire family returned to the United States from Ecuador where we had spent eight days running around the central spine of the country along the Andes. We brought our two oldest kids, Sophie and Dom. We asked for their observations. Here is one of them.

A Nine Year Old’s Observation of Ecuador

When I went to Ecuador on June 18th – 23rd, my favorite things that we did was zip-lining, picking fruits, and hot pools. The people we meet were Abby, Nathan, and Robyn. The places we went that I remember were Crater Lake, the hot pools, Abby’s Hideaway, the TelefériQo, the two Mitads del Mundo, and the Black Sheep Inn. I noticed that there were more poor people there than in Omaha. After every day I usually was tired, but during the day I was usually happy. The things that I remember that we went to were zip-lining, disc golf, and riding a taxi, hiking, and a paddle boat. That is what we did in ECUADOR.
