Greetings from the town of Cinque Terre in Bella Italia, home of the best food in the world. Our travels in the last week have carried us across three countries in three continents.

Coffee is known to make people happier. Even fight depression. The same could be said for travel. So from the confines of Durban, South Africa, Nadine began heading southwest coast along the Garden Route to Coffee Bay. A combination of two life giving endeavors, coffee and travel.

The largest contingent of Indians outside of India? Yep, a large population living in the Indian Ocean coastal town of Durban, South Africa.

The mini-van attracted enough passengers for Mt. Moorosi Chalets in southern Lesotho. Three things entertained us in the heart of African seclusion the next two nights, bright stars, a small forest fire caused by lightning, and idle chatter on the porch.

The green, quaint town of Yangshuo and a tout wearing wire glasses awaited us weary travelers heading south from Guilin.

Four days in Hong Kong was too much time. So we boated over to Macau one day via a high speed boat.

Kunming unexpectedly introduced Chinese customs, like incessant smoking and spitting on public transportation, that left Nadine and I head colds.
